About the Project
The Prairie Band Potawatomi Nation is eager to begin building a modest bingo hall and government center on our Shab-eh-nay Reservation near Shabbona in southern DeKalb County, Illinois. The project will generate union construction jobs as well as permanent jobs – the vast majority of which will be filled by local residents. It also will boost tourism and patrons for other local businesses. We look forward to beginning work on our plans, and we appreciate your support.

Community Cooperation
We are proud of our local community cooperation and support. The Nation has reached intergovernmental agreements with local government entities to ensure that our plan will not impose a burden on the resources and infrastructure of the local governments.
